Sunday, 05 January 2014

INU - On the sixty three day of their hunger strike, Sunni prisoners in Ghezel Hesar prison are in critical condition. Hamed Ahmadi and Jamshid Dehghan two of the hunger strikers are suffering from irreversible visual impairment, physical convulsions, vomiting , severe chills , dizziness and kidney pain. The hunger strike has entered a critical stage where the irreversible damage to the organs may result in death of the prisoners.

Despite the pressure by the regime to break their hunger strike the prisoners are steadfast in continuing their hunger strike as the only way to protest the illegal death sentences passed on to them.
