As Iran’s “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign continues to mobilize opposition to the death penalty, Resistance Units and freedom-seeking Iranians have carried out a new series of activities across several cities, calling for the cancellation of death sentences and solidarity with political prisoners facing execution.
The latest campaign activities included the installation of posters and floral tributes, photocalls, wall writings, and the distribution of messages condemning executions. The actions were reported in Arak, Isfahan, Ahvaz, Sanandaj, Rasht, and Mashhad, among other locations.
The campaign emphasizes opposition to executions as a central demand while highlighting the urgent situation of political prisoners currently facing death sentences.
Remembering Victims of Repression
In Arak, activists placed a floral tribute featuring a color photograph of Pouya Ghobadi, accompanied by the message:
“Dear Pouya, you will never be forgotten. You are with us in every step.”
The tribute served both as a commemoration and as a reminder that the victims of repression remain present in the collective memory of those opposing executions.
In Isfahan, a similar floral tribute was displayed alongside a photograph of Hamed Validi, carrying the message:
“Dear Hamed, your memory and your name will always remain with us and live in our hearts.”
The use of photographs and memorial messages has become an important feature of anti-execution activities, keeping the names and stories of victims visible despite the regime’s efforts to suppress dissent.
Calls to Protect Political Prisoners Facing Execution
In Ahvaz, activists distributed a poster strongly condemning the confirmation of the death sentence against political prisoner Arghoun Fallahi.
The message stated:
“We strongly condemn the confirmation of the death sentence against political prisoner Arghoun Fallahi.”
The activity reflects growing concern over political prisoners facing the death penalty and calls for their protection before executions can be carried out.
In Sanandaj, another poster carried the message:
“From Kurdistan to Tehran, everyone is against execution.”
The slogan underscores the campaign’s effort to portray opposition to the death penalty as a nationwide demand transcending geographic boundaries.

In Rasht and Mashhad, activists displayed posters carrying the simple but direct message:
“No to Execution.”
