Coordinated actions in multiple Iranian cities echoed the demands of imprisoned activists, calling for an end to executions and expressing solidarity with political prisoners facing death sentences.
Resistance Units Rally Nationwide in Support of Anti-Execution Campaign
Resistance Units across Iran have launched a new wave of coordinated activities in support of the prisoners’ “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign, reinforcing growing public opposition to the regime’s continued use of executions as a tool of repression.
The coordinated actions took place as the campaign expanded to 58 prisons across Iran, reflecting the persistence of a movement led by political prisoners and supported by activists nationwide. Through banners and public displays in numerous cities, Resistance Units called for an immediate halt to executions and voiced solidarity with prisoners facing death sentences.
Coordinated Actions Across Iranian Cities
Resistance Units carried out activities in Tehran, Karaj, Sari, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Behbahan, Kermanshah, Naein, Babol, Gorgan, Zabol, and Birjand, where banners were displayed condemning the regime’s execution policy and supporting the nationwide prison campaign.

The actions emphasized that opposition to executions extends far beyond prison walls, linking the demands of incarcerated activists with broader calls for justice and fundamental rights throughout Iran.
Calls to Stop Executions and Save Political Prisoners
Many of the banners focused on the death sentence issued against political prisoner Arghavan Fallahi, demanding its immediate cancellation.
Among the slogans displayed were:
- “I demand the immediate cancellation of the death sentence against political prisoner Arghavan Fallahi.”
- “We condemn the death sentence against Arghavan Fallahi.”
- “Stop executions.”
- “No to the execution of prisoners.”
- “No to executions; a cry against oppression and injustice.”
- “My fellow compatriot, join your voice with ours.”

The repeated references to Fallahi highlighted growing concern over the regime’s continued use of capital punishment against political detainees and reflected broader demands for the abolition of executions in Iran.
Resistance in the Face of Repression
Other banners stressed resilience in the face of state repression.
In Karaj, activists declared:
“We will not bow to executions and repression.”
In Shiraz, Resistance Units carried the slogan:
“No surrender, no mourning—resistance until the last breath.”
In Mashhad, activists simply demanded:
“Stop executions.”
These messages underscored the determination of Resistance Units to continue public opposition despite the severe risks associated with anti-regime activities.

Linking the Campaign to the Demand for Democratic Change
Several actions also connected opposition to executions with calls for broader political change.
In Behbahan, banners proclaimed:
- “No to executions, yes to freedom.”
- “Yes to a democratic republic.”
Meanwhile, Resistance Units in Kermanshah displayed the slogan:
“Khamenei is dead; the people will live.”
In Naein, activists honored the memory of Abbas Akbari while again condemning the death sentence against Arghavan Fallahi as part of the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign.
Growing Solidarity Between Prisoners and Society
The latest nationwide activities demonstrate the expanding solidarity between political prisoners participating in the No to Execution Tuesdays campaign and Resistance Units operating throughout Iran. By bringing the prisoners’ demands into public spaces across multiple cities, the activists sought to draw greater attention to the regime’s escalating use of executions and its broader campaign of political repression.
As the prison campaign continues to grow, these coordinated actions reflect an ongoing effort to amplify the voices of prisoners and maintain public pressure against the regime’s execution policies while advancing calls for freedom, justice, and a democratic future for Iran.
