Maryam Rajavi is the only possible alternative to the Iranian Regime because she has spent 26 years running the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), which acts as a parliament-in-exile, where she has worked with diplomats, leaders, and generals from around the world. Maryam Rajavi even has a ten-point plan for a Free Iran, which includes the banning of the death penalty and introduction of gender equality, so everyone knows exactly what she stands for.

Maryam Rajavi is also the keynote speaker at the annual Free Iran Rally, which is regularly attended by over 100,000 people, including some of the world’s most high-ranking diplomats. The people gather there to oppose the Iranian dictatorship and support the NCRI and Maryam Rajavi as the people to lead Iran through its democratic revolution.

In order to promote the Free Iran rally this year, as well as show their support for Maryam Rajavi, the Iranian diaspora has announced four huge demonstrations against the Iranian regime across Europe and the US in the next seven weeks, including Brussels on June 15, Washington D.C. on June 21, Berlin, on July 6, and London, on July 27.

These demonstrations in support of Maryam Rajavi as the next President of Iran come at the worst time for the Iranian Regime. The mullahs are already facing US economic sanctions that are crippling their ability to fund their terrorist proxies, mass domestic protests against the Regime and in support of Maryam Rajavi, and a huge shift in international policy with regards to the Iranian dictatorship.

The US has finally turned its back on the Regime and many in the administration are turning towards Maryam Rajavi and the Resistance as the true representative of the Iranian people. This firm stance against the Regime has deeply hampered the mullahs’ efforts to suppress their people and shows the Regime that the US believes Maryam Rajavi will make a far better leader than Ali Khamenei.

This is something that the Iranian people already knew which is why they have spent the past 18 months coming out to protest the Regime in the streets while holding Maryam Rajavi posters and chanting her slogans. This is despite increased ‘security’ by the Regime.

The Iranian people, diaspora, and resistance want Europe and other countries to join the US in supporting the people’s uprisings in Iran, recognising the Iranian people’s rights to freedom and democracy and to identifying Maryam Rajavi and the NCRI as the viable democratic alternative to the religious tyranny ruling Iran.

That is the message from the streets and on social media.

The NCRI wrote: “The Iranian diaspora and supporters of the Iranian opposition are using to raise awareness for their cause and to voice the Iranian people in their quest to the international leaders to support the NCRI and its President-elect Maryam Rajavi in their struggle for a #FreeIran.”
