They will gather in order to show support of the Iranian people’s uprising against the Regime and for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), led by Maryam Rajavi, as the democratic alternative to the mullahs’ regime.
They will also declare their support for Rajavi’s ten-point plan for a free Iran, which includes separation of religion and state, gender equality and the abandonment of nuclear weapons.
The Iranians will be calling on those attending the conference to:
• condemn ongoing human rights violations in Iran
• adopt a firm policy against the regime
• take practical actions to counter the regime’s terrorism
• recognize the people’s right to overthrow the religious dictatorship
This rally will be attended by thousands of Iranians and feature speeches from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Algerian Prime Minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali, former US Senator Robert Torricelli, and several Polish Members of Parliament and the Senate.
They will also take part in a press briefing before the meeting.
The February 13-14 ministerial conference, hosted jointly by the US State Department and Polish Foreign Ministry, is expected to focus on Iran’s meddling in the Middle East and how this has led to instability and terrorism.
The Regime’s destructive conduct in the region is one of many issues that worry the rest of the world, along with its systematic human rights violations.
The Iranian Regime called for this conference to be cancelled, even summoning the Polish Ambassador, but they have failed. They fear that the international community will reach a consensus about ending their appeasement of the Regime and supporting the people’s call for regime change instead.
The Iranian people have been involved in a nationwide uprising, led by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), for over a year now, loudly calling for regime change.
The Regime has failed to stop the protests, despite a widespread and violent crackdown where almost 10,000 people were arrested, so they have resorted to terrorist activities against the MEK and the NCRI in Europe and the US.
The Regime has even admitted that the MEK and its Resistance Units that are present all across Iran are a major threat to the rule of the mullahs, which is why the Regime has launched a major disinformation campaign against the MEK at home and abroad.
