Iran’s protest continued for the 17th day with the people’s march on the streets in parallel to the expanding general strike. According to the information collected by the regime’s opposition, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK/PMOI) so far more than 170 cities have revolted against the regime, with more than 400 deaths and more than 20,000 arrests.

It should be noted that yesterday, the people confronted the regime’s forces in more than 30 districts of Tehran, including:

Jamalzadeh – Narmak – Tehranpars- Sadeghieh – Qaitrieh – Keshavarz Blvd. – Valiasr – Pastor- Engelab St. – Tatar Shahr Metro – Saadat Abad – Kargar North – Nosrat Area – Nazi Abad – Jamal Abad – Khani Abad – Afsarieh – Nabard Street – Shohada Square – Mukhbar al-Dole intersection – Eskandari intersection – Sarsabz intersection – Kashanak Jamal Abad – Valiasr intersection Zafaranieh – Sar Asiyab and Imam Hossein Square.

Also, yesterday, the shopkeepers and marketers in Karaj, Baneh – Mahabad – Piranshahr – Ravansar – Sardasht – Urmia, Hashtgerd – Qazvin, Sanandaj, Robat Karim Shahriar, Qaemshahr. The arcades of the Topkhaneh area and the center of Tehran, Piranshahr, Naqdeh, Marivan, and Oshnavieh, went on strike in solidarity with the people.

Yesterday, along with Tehran, many Iranian cities were also the scene of protests. Some of these cities are Isfahan, Shiraz, Zahedan, Kashan, Tabriz, Karaj, Mashhad, Gohardasht, Lordegan, Kermanshah, Yazd, Zanjan, Mahabad, Rasht, Qazvin, Kerman, Birjand, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Dezful, Saqqez, Shahrari, Khorramabad, Borujerd, Marivan, Ahvaz, Ramsar, and Arak.
