“The government has run out of money. There is no money so that we could say that the money we want to spend, should be spent in such a way.”

These words are part of a speech by Mohsen Zanganeh, a member of Iran’s budget commission, in an interview with state television about the country’s situation expressed on October 27, 2021.

He did not oblige himself to speak about the reason and the roots of such a situation but said the country and its people are on the verge of their ‘maximum endurance.’

Fearing the unbridled growth of inflation and the turbulent situation of the country’s market, he warned that any incitement of the society would result in new protests and a social explosion.

To find out the other reason for the situation which he did not express, with a look at the speeches of the other officials, one can complete this puzzle.

Hossein Raghfar, a state-affiliated economist, in an interview with the state TV Channel 4 said: “You have a well-known organizational corruption.” No corruption is created without any preconditions and records.

This raises the following questions.

When did this “organized corruption” start, and which institutions are involved in this organized corruption?

Why has no one from any of the regime’s factions spoken about it and revealed the truth and what is the reason for the revelation at this time?

Who is the founder of such a huge corruption that has emptied the country’s treasure?

Finding the roots of the regime’s corruption is not hard, most state-affiliated ‘experts’ know who the main root of the corruption is. The center of the nation’s plundered capital can be found in the regime’s gigantic economic institutions.

Foundations and organizations controlled by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s office and the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have accumulated a mythical wealth from this organized looting.

In his interview, Raghfar warned that this situation will lead to a growing social gap. The result of such a situation is clear, more protests and uprising something that the moderator in this interview referred to as “violence”.

In his warnings, Raghfar described the role of the government in intensifying this class gap in such a way:

“The class and social divides are constantly widening, and it’s natural that in such circumstances, those who are in power and have wealth, the decisions that are made up there are to protect their interests. Therefore, any protest will be silenced or will be not heard, and the grounds for social discontent will expand. And the events that we have witnessed in previous years were because of not listening to the people’s voices and the lack of reasonable and legal paths for the people to express their protests. [Violent protests] will lead to social instability and aftermath to political destabilization.”

Finally, he indirectly attacked the regime’s supreme leader and his selected president Ebrahim Raisi who seeks to change the regime’s desperate situation and said:

“You have a well-known organized organizational corruption, and then you want to reform it; it can’t be corrected. This body, whose organs have been infested with cancer, cannot be healed with an aspirin.”
