During the speeches, they touched on many important issues, from the Regime’s warmongering to their human rights abuses, but the most significant has to be their several attempted acts of terrorism on European soil.
Stevenson said: “The mullahs have mobilized their Ministry of Intelligence & Security (MOIS) agents to track down and eliminate opponents of the regime here in Europe and right around the world. It is clear that Iran uses its embassies as bomb factories and terror cells, plotting atrocities. The mullahs have Iranian Intelligence agents implanted in every European embassy.”
Indeed, last year alone the Regime was caught trying to bomb a New Year’s Gathering held by the Iranian Resistance in Albania and a Free Iran rally held by the Resistance in Paris. The rally, held in June, was attended by 100,000 people, including the speakers at Saturday’s rally. Several Iranian agents, including a diplomat, have been arrested and are awaiting trial.
This is why Europe should act. They must close Iran’s embassies, expel the diplomats, and let the Iranian people know that the West supports them over the mullahs. The Regime spends vast sums trying to crush the opposition, seeking to imprison or execute any dissident, but especially those who align with the Resistance. Appeasing the Regime is harmful to the Iranian people and the security of Europe.
At the end of his speech, Stevenson said: “We are standing outside the British Embassy and indeed right underneath the offices used by the Scottish representation in Brussels. Over there is the European Commission headquarters. Nearby is the Council HQ and behind that is the European Parliament. We will shortly march past the German Embassy. My message to all of them is WAKE UP! You must abandon your disgraceful appeasement policy and follow America’s lead by blacklisting the IRGC. America and the EU should go a step further and blacklist the MOIS. This is urgent because the mullahs are threatening our security in Europe. ”
Further anti-regime rallies are planned for other European capitals over the coming weeks.
